Time of Presentation: Wednesday, June 13, 2012 11.40-12.10, Track: "Innovation + Startups + VCs"

Topic of Presentation: Aikistartup

Abstract of Presentation: Aikido is a very young Japanese martial art that descends from the old secret Samurai techniques. It roughly translates into the way of the harmony between you and the universe. Essentially is a very efficient martial art in which the goal is to redirect the energy of an attacker and use it against him, not to hurt but to dissuade him.

While it might seem that Aikido has nothing to do with startups, truth is that startups and market forces behave like friends and foes and many real techniques apply and illustrate how startups behave and how to beat the market and your competition.

We'll do real live practicing and we expect the audience to join us (not mandatory though) while we teach and explain some basic techniques and their connection with the startup behavior.
